I’ve been feeling the need to unplug, get away, take a few deep breaths, and recharge the batteries. We all have our “happy places” and mine is near the border. When I live in God’s Country, why is the draw always farther north? Perhaps because work, daily stresses, and ongoing challenges are ever-present in my daily commute, stacks of work that await, and even in my closest circle of loved ones.
Getting away to new vistas, laughter with friends, and unplugging from my online life is just what I need.
But before I go, here’s a photo from my northern Happy Place. I’ll be back . . . later.
I like the look of your “happy place!”
I spent two years in Borderland – and there – met my helpmate. Just thinking about those voyageurs days gives me a lift.
Anchors away and Bon voyage!
